SECOND OF THE FOUR NEW SONGS NOW UP!

posted by admin on  9:07 || topic Music

My Washburn Status 1000 Bass Guitar!

Second Song added is called A Diffrent Path and is probably more in the Metal genra than heavy rock. This is diffrent for me as its based on a riff rather than chord progression and the main rythym instrument changes from a guiatr to a bass in the chorus section (two basses playing in this section). Its also unusal as the middle 8 is almost a second bridge and has some vocals over it to. Also the bridge is before the chorus rather than after it!!! Lastly I use my buzz vocals to add a gritty angry quality to the melody line sung to emphasies the lyrics!

I hope you enjoy these new releases the last two songs will be up within the next few weeks.  Check out the Discography Section and expect minor tweeks for the mastering of the songs allready ...

NEW SONG ADDED THE ROAD....

posted by admin on  18:52 || topic Music

THE ROAD NEW TRACK UPLOADED

Check out the first of four tracks out now.  The first one The Road is my first attempt at a Country and Western style of music although it is a hybrid rock feel to it to.  I am very happy with it as a song but also think its one of my best produced tracks due to the new software and hardware I am using.  Will need to update some of the web pages around here later to reflect the new equipment and software I am using and to add some links to.  I hope you enjoy the track your welcome to leave any comments here!

posted by admin on  1:31 || topic Music

Been visitng my home town in UK above picture is from Deri, Wales returning to Malaysia tomorrow.  While I been over been busy and taking advantage of meeting up with my old Terarrim band mates Rob and Steve Taylor had some exiting developments with them so watch this space on news regarding a new venture with them.   Also since I have sent in my four songs for copyright (with the international guild of songwriters and composers)  and since I will be going back to malaysia this should mean that I have at least 3 of the 4 new songs up within the next few weeks,  Great thing about going back as well as meeting the familly which is brilliant is the support they give me and the postive feedback from my old band members been excellent.

Hopefully next update on the website will be links to the new tracks,

FOUR NEW SONGS COMING SOON

posted by admin on  2:52 || topic Music

Hopefully I should be uploading four new songs very soon.  Or at least three songs with a delay on the fourth.   The songs will be in rock/western, metal. hard rock, ballad styles.   A combination of new hardware and software and my own skills improve as I create more songs mean that I am very very happy with the qualtiy of  both the songs and the mix.  I do hope that these songs will be up within the next moth or so.   So as they say watch this space for more information in the very near future...

TWO SEMI FINAL ENTRYS AND ONE COMMENDATION IN 2009 UK SONGWRITERS CONTEST

posted by admin on  17:42 || topic Music

I am pleased to announce that I went one better than last year and got two semi final entrys into the 2009 UK Songwriters Contest in the instrumental section.  The two compisitions in question are Excalibur Return of the King and Snowflake (In My Mind) from the Excalibur Album.  Smitten entered into the Contempory Adult section got a commended entry and was taken from the ballads album.

I will send these compositions to music libraries to see whether people wish to use them for commercial purposes soon.
